Watermelon-Cucumber-Orange Juice

I've noticed that since I started making juice, I seem to be eating less. So I did some calculations for today, and was surprised:

May 19th 2011

Juice -- 3 cups watermelon, 2 cups cucumber, 1 cup orange
8 kumquats
Apple Stuffs -- 7 walnuts, 1/4 cup oats, sprinkle of seeds and coconut shreds, 1 date, 2 apples, 1/4 cup spinach
Half a carton of coconut-juice, mango-peach juice
Juice -- 2 leafs of chard, 1/4 cup spinach, 3 Clementine-oranges
Nori rolls -- 2 sheets of nori, half an avocado, 2 cups of spinach, 5 leafs of lettuce, 2 spoonfuls of flax oil, 1/4 cup of kim chi (home made), 1/3rd of a tomato, 4 spoonfuls of minced onion, sprinkle of home-made dehydrated vegetable crackers, pinch of celery salt

I'm aiming for an 80-10-10 diet, where 80% of my calories come from fruit, 10% come from vegetables, and 10% come from fats. As you can see, despite eating a lot of vegetable in terms of the amount, it doesn't reach 10% yet. Also, despite eating very "little" in the fat category, I exceed 10% today by a lot.

I have calculated my calories in a day before several times, each coming to approximately 2100 calories for the day, so my thinking that juice was somehow making me crave less food is correct. I've felt full of energy and vibrant all day, and yesterday. I think I do feel better by drinking juice as opposed to eating, eating, eating.

I would have expected to desire more calories on a juice diet, but I guess not. This month-long juice feast is going to be an interesting trial indeed.
